20th March, 2016 – The penultimate day of the DWS16

The fifth, penultimate day of the School was open by the lecture of Branislav Bandic, director of the Agency for Energy center in Novi Sad. He talked about the payment system for heating, heating network and alternative energy sources. After that prof. dr Mirko Savić from the Faculty of Economics University of Novi Sad had the presentation about brain drain which is very popular topic nowadays. He discussed the demographic structure in the Danube Region and problem with the low population rate. Following that Aleksandar Janković, project director of Accessibility Audit Association from Serbia made the interesting and interactive presentation named „A very successful failure: One century old narrative about leadership“.

After the lunch break, the program is continued by the lecture of Milena Kresoja Research and Teaching Assistant at Department of Mathematics and Informatics, Faculty of Sciences at University of Novi Sad. She talked about student’s migration, types of student’s mobility and their importance. Besides, it was discussed the special program Eurostudent.

Like previous days, after the official part of program participants continued to work on their project ideas through group work.
