16th March, 2016 - Danube Winter School officially opened

Danube Winter School (DWS16), organized by DaReC (Danube Area Research Center), Center for Historical Research, Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad, and the European Danube Academy Ulm (Germany), is officially opened on the Opening Ceremony at 4 p.m. in the Ceremonial Hall of the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad.
All 25 participants arrived in Novi Sad in time and safely, and with a lot of enthusiasm attended the Opening Ceremony of the DWS16.
The participants of the Danube Winter School were greeted by Professor PhD Ivana Živančević Sekeruš - Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy, Mr. Vladimir Pavlov – Provincial Secretary for Science and Technological Development, Mr. Johannes Iršik - the director of the Austrian Cultural Forum and Professor PhD Ivan Jordović - Head of the Department of History, Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad.
After arrival to convention center CePOR in Andrevlje followed introduction of Danube Area Center DAReC, European Danube Academy EDA and Center for Historical Research. Participants were divided into working groups for their final assignments.
